Job Vacancy: Experienced Machine Operator
Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced machine operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will know how to operate a range of forestry machines, or have similar experience from agriculture, military or estate work and wish to drive a range of machines including, but not limited to:
- Excavator with grapple saw
- Forestry tractor and timber trailer
- Tractor with mulcher
- Tractor with woodchip trailers
This role requires someone who is hard working, self motivated and thrives in a small team environment with a real passion for forestry. Chainsaw certification up to small fell would be beneficial but not essential. Support in additional training and development would be provided as part of employment.
Additional requirements and skills:
- Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
- Relevant FMOCs
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Excellent customer service
- Maintenance of all machinery to a high standard
- Good organisation and time management
The role is full-time, site based in South England. The majority of sites are in Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.
Hours would be 50 hours a week.
